ABOUT HUNNIE

I call both of my dogs "hunnie". Eleanor, my frenchie, responds to Eleanor, Elle, Ellie, hunnie, and girls. Layla, my old lady puppy, will only selectively respond to Layla. Anytime I see a dog, I refer to them as a hunnie. Basically to me, all dogs are hunnies. That's the origin story of hunnie. My dogs are my inspo. No one gives love better than a hunnie.

So what are we doing here? Mostly recipes. For now. I create recipes that nourishing. Other times I'll make a recipe for days when nutrition is just not top of the list of things I’m concerned about (oh the beauty in balance). I have time saving recipes, something you can put together when you are already behind schedule. Other recipes will require a little Tender Loving Care, but you can’t rush perfection. My hope is that you can create and appreciate all the amazing things that are possible through cooking. Through food. That’s how I’ll do my best to show my love to you guys.

And I never say no to dessert.
